Haute Living highlights Gurney’s Newport Resort & Marina on Goat Island following an $18 million transformation. The four-season waterfront property brings 257 rooms and suites, four restaurant outlets, indoor and outdoor pools, a fitness center, spa and event spaces to Newport Harbor.

Peter Bowden of PETERMAX Co. shapes every design aspect of the resort, creating a cohesive hospitality experience that responds to the property’s setting between Narragansett Bay and Newport Harbor.

The food-and-beverage program by LDV Hospitality includes Scarpetta, The Regent Cocktail Club, Corso and The Pineapple Club. Together, the venues extend the resort’s identity across Italian dining, cocktails, coffee and poolside hospitality.
