Carry On Airlines has been recognized as a Finalist in the 2026 Architizer A+Awards in the Hospitality – Bars & Wineries category. Presented annually by Architizer, the A+Awards celebrate projects that demonstrate excellence in architecture and design while advancing innovation across the built environment.
Designed by PETERMAX Co., Carry On Airlines transforms a narrow downtown Phoenix storefront into an immersive aviation-inspired cocktail lounge. Drawing inspiration from Eero Saarinen's iconic TWA Flight Center, the project recreates the experience of boarding and traveling aboard a vintage jetliner through meticulously crafted architecture, lighting, materials, and storytelling.
This recognition continues Carry On Airlines' growing list of industry accolades, highlighting the project's unique narrative, immersive guest experience, and thoughtful execution. Being selected as an Architizer A+Awards Finalist places the project among an international field of exceptional hospitality designs.
