BDNY Exhibitors, Spaces Look at Future of Hotel Design
Peter Bowden and PETERMAX Co.’s award-winning design for Carry On Airlines transforms an intimate Phoenix cocktail bar into the richly detailed cabin of a glamorous 1970s jetliner. Curved leather banquettes follow the contours of illuminated aircraft-style windows, while compact cocktail tables, amber lamps and warm concealed lighting create the atmosphere of an exclusive nighttime flight. The immersive environment earned Carry On Airlines the Judges’ So Cool Award (“Best in Show”) at the 2025 Gold Key Awards for Excellence in Hospitality Design.
Hotel Management highlighted Carry On Airlines by PETERMAX Co. as the recipient of the Judges’ So Cool Award during the 2025 Gold Key Awards celebration in New York City. The award was presented at Cipriani 42nd Street as more than 500 hospitality professionals gathered to recognize excellence across 24 project categories.
