Uppercut Named a 2026 Gold Key Awards Finalist
Uppercut in Phoenix has been named a finalist in the Restaurant Upscale Dining category of the 2026 Gold Key Awards for Excellence in Hospitality Design. PETERMAX Co. is recognized as the project’s design and purchasing firm, with AG Architectural Solutions serving as architecture firm and Pretty Decent Concepts as client.
Boutique Design has announced Uppercut as a finalist in the Restaurant Upscale Dining category of the 46th annual Gold Key Awards for Excellence in Hospitality Design.
Presented by Boutique Design, the international awards program recognizes outstanding hospitality projects across hotels, resorts, restaurants, bars, lounges, wellness spaces and other hospitality environments. A jury of eight industry experts selected the 2026 finalists and winners from more than 440 entries across 25 categories.
The official finalist announcement recognizes PETERMAX Co. as Uppercut’s design and purchasing firm. AG Architectural Solutions is credited as the project’s architecture firm, and Pretty Decent Concepts is identified as the client.
Uppercut is an intimate steak-omakase experience concealed within Cleaverman in downtown Phoenix. The project advances its own highly focused identity while remaining part of the interconnected hospitality environment created for Pretty Decent Concepts.
Winners will be revealed during the Gold Key Awards ceremony on November 9, 2026, at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City during BDNY.
