Amaya Modern Mexican to Debut at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas
Amaya at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. Designed by Peter Max Bowden and the PETERMAX Co. team, the restaurant combines intimate alcoves and energetic social spaces within an environment inspired by the rustic elegance and tree-canopied landscapes of Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula.
FSR Magazine previews Amaya, a modern Mexican restaurant created by Clique Hospitality for Gen3 Hospitality at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. The concept pairs coastal Mexican cuisine with DJs, live entertainment and an energetic dining experience.
Peter Max Bowden and the PETERMAX Co. team designed Amaya’s 7,180-square-foot dining room, bar and lounge. Inspired by the rustic elegance and lush, tree-canopied tropics of the Yucatán Peninsula, the design combines intimate alcoves with larger social areas to create what the article describes as a sophisticated beachside retreat.
The restaurant’s culinary program was developed under Michelin-starred chef Jason McLeod and draws from Mexico’s coastal ingredients and communal dining traditions. A dedicated catador oversees the tequila and mezcal collection, reinforcing the immersive relationship between the menu, beverage program and PETERMAX Co.-designed environment.
